Kaylee’s First Flight!

December 10, 2008

This Thanksgiving we went to Colorado to see family and friends and so this included Kaylee’s first flight. We had a wonderful time visiting everybody and I know Kaylee was a hit with everyone! Were so glad so many people got to meet her and we look forward to visiting again during the summer.

Kaylee Meets Santa

November 26, 2008

I was a bit nervous about Kaylee meeting Santa for the first time. You never know if that big jolly man with whiskers will scare a little one or if it was time to spit up on Santa! But, Kaylee was fine even being as tired as she was. It was time for a nap and she showed it by itching her eyes, but I really think she knew she had to  stay awake. For after her “photo Shoot” with Santa she passed right out! He must have assured her she would get everything she wants for Christmas!

Soapbox Races

November 23, 2008

Last week we went to a neighborhood Soapbox Race and I will have to tell you it was something that we will definitely go to next year. I will say it is a bit dangerous for we saw about 4 crashes and missed a crash that ended up in the hospital!
Right before we left, we ran into the group "The Mummies." I will have to say they are very good and I if they are in your town you have to catch them. As you can tell Kaylee was born for Halloween just like her mom and dad are... look at that smile!

Here is the track that everybody came down. This was the two skeleton cars that were in one race.

You've got to the the imagination that some people have. The first time this one went down the hill it was followed by a group of men with suits yelling! HA! HA!

We have to get Kaylee one of these! Then her daddy has a Hummer and so does Kaylee.

We have to get Kaylee one of these! Then she will be just like her daddy!

For almost 3 weeks Kaylee has been on her own for holding her head up,so she now gets to sit in her first chair. We think it's the cutest thing and she highly enjoys the independance she has now!

Halloween

October 22, 2008

Most people know that Halloween is a very important to Mike and I since that is the time that we met back in 2002. So due to that we usually go all out with decorations and our Halloween party. This year we postponed the party due to our little one, but trust me we will be ready next year! Of course I didn’t skip on the decorations outside but, I didn’t do as much inside. We usually have around 100 trick or treater’s so I couldn’t disappoint the kids… and adults 😉

So I started putting our two skeletons and found that one was a bit drunk!

Too cute!

I’ve been a bit of a slacker lately with the blogging and pictures, but in the next few weeks I promise to have more. In the next coming weeks and months we have a bunch of activities coming up such as our 2nd favorite holiday Halloween! In less then a month in TN we have a wedding celebration for my long time friend Edna Heird, which was a bridesmaid in our wedding and then of course we have Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Last week we went to The PGA Tour Championship at East Lake in Atlanta, which is only 2 miles away from our house. Unfortunatley you are not allowed to bring cameras and so we cannot provide you all with pictures. We ended up sitting at the 18th hole almost the entire time and we were so glad we did! If you didn’t watch the tournament then you missed out. We plan on going again next year, so if anybody would like to join then please call us.

I'm ready for my photo shoot!

While Mike's sister, Molly was in town we ended up going to the Grant Park Festival the same day we went to DragoCon...long day.

Here is a picture of one of the two trucks that we saw where the artists made art out of their cars.

I call this The Bottle Top Truck. I wonder howmany are actually on this!

Hmmm...I might have to trade in my Mercedes hood ornament for this one!

This is my favorite! Dr. Molly was starting her new job in less then a week and I guess she felt like she needed to practice before the big day! This exhibit was by an organazation called Trees Atlanta, which plants trees around Atlanta.

Once again she is passed out! I just love how she looks so small in her carseat...I know she is small:)

Such a Diva!

September 7, 2008

During my baby shower my girlfriends designed onesies for Kaylee and as you can tell she does wear them. I think the girls all felt as though I would never use them, but to tell you the truth they are the best! Kaylee sleeps in them and here is a picture of here in her “Diva” onesie that Allison Furr (soon to be Banks!) made…I think it fits her perfectly by size and by attitude!

Just because…
